Verdadero Éxito

1 Timothy 3

True Success

1 Timothy 3

In the eyes of men, success is centered on accumulating wealth, maintaining a relevant social status, and living the best life now. Conversely, God defines success as maintaining a good reputation, being patient, having good behavior, and not being greedy for money (among many other things). How a person views success, will determine their drive, motivation, and approach on this life, and the next.

Tiempo Entre

Time Between

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

The time between the day you were born, and the day you cross over into eternity, is invaluable, yet limited. Therefore, every moment spent in this life, should be focused on doing things relevant to eternal matters. “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.”

Because Of You…

Joshua 23

Because of you, the Lord fights for you. Because of you, the Lord sustains your wellbeing. Because of you, the Lord stored up an eternal inheritance for you. Because of you, the Lord cuts off all who fight against you. Because of you, the Lord expels and drives your enemies from your sight. Because of you, the Lord keeps His promises. Because of you, the Lord expresses His unfailing grace, everlasting  mercy, and unfathomable love toward you. Because of you…

Vanglorie-se no Senhor

Salmos 145:1-7

Boast In The Lord

Psalm 145:1-7

When was the last time you lifted up the name of the Lord? How often do you share with others, the goodness of God the Father. Are you ashamed to let others know, you choose to live a life of holiness, or do you boldly proclaim the truth of the Gospel, in the way you live each day? Although he was far from perfect, king David made a healthy habit of making known the name of the Lord to all men. Despite all his encounters, his confidence rested in the fact that God was in control of all things, and He alone was worthy of all praise, honor, and glory. “I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works. And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness. They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness” (Psalm 145:1-7).

Simpatía Por Los Afligidos

2 Corinthians 4:16-5:10

2 Corinthians 4

17. Porque esta leve tribulación momentánea produce en nosotros un cada vez más excelente y eterno peso de gloria;

2. Y por esto también gemimos, deseando ser revestidos de aquella nuestra habitación celestial;

3. pues así seremos hallados vestidos, y no desnudos.

7. (porque por fe andamos, no por vista);

Sympathy For The Bereaved

2 Corinthians 4:16-5:10

2 Corinthians 4

16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 5

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
