Proverbs 27:12
“A prudent man forseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.”
Proverbs 27:12
“A prudent man forseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.”
Proverbs 26:27
“Whoso diggith a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.”
Psalm 7
Psalm 13, 14
Proverbs 3:5-7
Without God, I would be lost… my life would have no purpose… I would never find joy… my soul would be empty… my motives would be selfish… my days would be hard… my nights would be restless… I would believe a lie… I would shun the truth…I would drift away, believing every wind of doctrine… I would fail…
2 Thessalonians 2:16-3:13
“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.” This saying takes me back to the 1980s, when innocent, nerdy kids like me, would get picked on in school by bullies. While that saying may have sounded good, it was the biggest lie I was ever told. Contrary to popular belief, words do hurt. It was unfortunate to deal with unruly and devious peers growing up, but there wasn’t much good to expect from certain kids back in my day.
As becoming Saints of God, there is an expected behavior associated with holy living. Following the transformation from the old to the new man, the words and works of the new believer should be in stark contrast to their former attitude and conduct. In the same way a parent would positively reinforce the good works of a child, God will also establish and certify the good deeds of His people.
This present world is full of wicked and evil communication on all fronts, from the white house to the poor house. Men and women all over the world, can be found speaking and doing things displeasing to God. Fortunately, the time is ripe for the children of God to let their lights shine in this world of darkness, and prove to others, holy living is necessary, in order to be blessed of the Lord.
In your daily conversations and dealings, be certain your attitude is proper, and your actions line up with God’s will. This way, you’ll be certain to receive of God’s grace, mercy, and goodness all the days of your life.
Proverbs 13
Psalm 15:1-2
“Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.”
*Judge your life, not by other’s opinion of you, but by your lifestyle, your works, and the words you speak. This is how God the Father will determine who will dwell in His holy hill.
Ephesians 6:4
“And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.”
Fathers, povoke not your children to wrath, by avoiding severity, anger, harshness, and cruelty. Cruel parents generally have bad children. The proper way to discipline is, to correct, and not punish. Punishment is from a principle of revenge, whereas correction is from a principle of affectionate concern. Children are to be nourished with wholesome discipline and instruction, which will bend them toward God, and His way of living.

Judge me not by what you heard, but by the fruit I bring forth.
